Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom LTE SM-C105A With C105AUBUANA1 Android 4.2.2 JellyBean

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom LTE SM-C105A (AT&T) smartphone recently received the new official update which is dubbed as UBUANA1 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The Korean company started to rolled out an OTA update about this firmware in Mexico.

Now it is also available for manual update. This smartphone is also available for manual download and update. The device was released with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and already received the update. Here is the another latest update that is dubbed as C105AUBUANA1 android 4.2.2 JellyBean firmware.


So, if you have this device and want to update the same with the aforementioned firmware, just follow this tutorial.

Since the android 4.3 Jellybean or latest update are not available for this smartphone, you can expect only a few bugs in this firmware update.

Important Note:

1. If you are using any custom ROM, then by installing this firmware you are replaced with STOCK ROM.

2. If you are using any custom recovery like CWM or TWRP, then it must be replaced with the stock recovery.

3. After flashing your phone by using this firmware, it will no longer belong to the rooted device. But don’t worry, you can root your phone any time after flashing this firmware.


1.Since, this firmware update is particularly for Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom LTE SM-C105A smartphone you need to check your device model number. Applying this firmware in any other device will brick your phone.

2.This tutorial is applicable only for Windows PC. So, don’t try in other computers.

3.This firmware is not locked for any carrier, so no matter of which country or region you are residing. Just device model name and version is important.

4.Make sure about the battery percentage level of your phone. If it is less than 80%, plug into the charger.

5.Next backup all your important data’s using any good backup applications.

6.Then enable the USB debugging option on your phone.

7.Finally, install the USB driver of your phone to the computer.

Procedure to install the official firmware in Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom LTE SM-C105A:

1.First download the Android UBUANA1 firmware and Odin from this link.

2.Once you have downloaded them, switch OFF your phone and boot the same into the download mode. To enter into download mode, you need to press the volume down button, home button and power button (long press until the boot screen appear), now again press the volume up key to proceed to Download Mode.

3.Then extract the Odin zip file which you have already downloaded and run the same as an administrator. To run in such a way, just do right click on the .exe file and click on run as administrator.

4.After that connect your phone to the computer using USB cable.

5.In Odin3 screen, you must see a COM Port number in ID: COM section and “Added” text in the message box. Both of them shows that your device was detected by the Odin driver successfully.

6.After that just make sure only the “Auto Reboot” option and “F.Reset Time” are checked.

7.Then extract the downloaded firmware zip file, you will find the same with extension .tar.md5.

8.Now in the Odin screen, click the PDA button and select the firmware file with .tar.md5 extension.

9.Next click the start button, the installation process will begin in your phone now and wait for few minutes.

10.Once completed, you will see a “PASS” message in “ID: COM” port having the green background.

11.Once the process is finished, your phone will reboot automatically.

That’s it! Now, your phone was successfully updated. Disconnect the same from the computer. Confirm the firmware update in Settings > About Phone.
