1.Backup all your internal stuff and data’s which was available on your phone with the help of backup applications.
2.Next download the USB drivers (ADB and Fastboot) for your phone and make it compatible with the windows.
3.Then enable the USB Debugging mode by following the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging.”
4.Then disable the security apps and programs like Antivirus and firewall temporarily on your phone.
5.Finally, check the battery percentage level of your Sony Xperia E Dual smartphone, if it is less than 75% let them charge fully.
Procedure to Root Sony Xperia E Dual smartphone:
1.First download the android.zip from this post.
2.Once you have downloaded the files extract them into a folder and place it in your desktop.
3.Then again download the XperiaEDual.elf from this post and copy the same into the already extracted folder.
4.After this switch off your phone and allow it to enter into the fast boot mode. To enter into such mode, you need to hold the volume up button and press power button until it enters into the fastboot mode.
5.In the computer, open command prompt window in the android folder which you have placed earlier in your desktop. To open press the shift key on your keyboard and press the right-click on your mouse on the android folder. After that select the open command window option.
6.Then again connect your phone to the computer by using original USB cable. In case, the windows install the drivers, automatically wait until the process is complete.
7.In the command prompt run the given commands and type only the words which are appearing in bold italic:
fastboot devices (if you are seeing the alphanumeric character in the command prompt then it implies your phone was successfully recognized by the PC).
Then again type:
fastboot flash boot XperiaEdual.elf
8.After that download the DooMLoRD_v1_ROOT-insecure-busybox-su.zip from this post and extract it into a folder.
9.Then make sure the USB debugging option is enabled in your phone. Meanwhile, enable the installation of apps from unknown sources.
10.To enable that option go to Settings > Security and tick the Unknown sources.
11.After that connect your Xperia E dual to your computer using USB cable and double-click on runme.bat option.
12.Once you have done this, the process will initiate on your phone. Just follow the on-screen instructions.
