How To Root Sony Xperia M Smartphone

If you are a Sony Xperia M Smartphone owner and want to root your phone, just follow this tutorial. It works fine in both the C1904/1905 models running on Jelly Bean 4.1 firmware.

1.This rooting procedure works fine only on Sony Xperia M C1904/1905 models. So, before start to proceed just check your device model number. In case it varies, please don’t make a try. Just stop here. If you continue either it may not working on your phone or end with bricking your phone.

2.To check your model number just navigate to Settings option in your phone and from there go to About Device, then Model Number.

3.Next charge your Sony Xperia phone fully or at least up to 70%. So, then it never gets switched off due to low battery.

4.Next make sure, your device was unlocked. The network-locked device may not get success in rooting by following this method.

5.Finally, connect your phone to the PC with the USB cable and make sure all the necessary drivers for this model or installed on your computer.

Procedure to Root Sony Xperia M smartphone:

1.First Download the Framaroot.apk file from here.

2.Next install the apk and make sure that you had tick the “Unknown sources” at Settings>Security.

3.Next navigate to Settings > Developer Options and enable the USB debugging option on your phone.

4.After that connect your Sony Xperia M smartphone to the computer using original USB cable.

5.At that time just ensure that the android logo is visible at your status bar.

6.Next open the framaroot.apk and select the SuperSu or Superuser.

7.Again select the Gandalf exploiter (At this step, your device may freeze for few seconds, so don’t panic).
