If you have LG Optimus L9 Android phone and want to root the same to take the advantages of custom ROMs, apps etc., follow this tutorial.
To follow this tutorial you don’t even need to use any command prompt for this. The only problem is that this is Chinese Language, so you have to click the exact buttons.
1.The given below procedure works fine only on this models P760, P765,P768, P769. If you are using, any other models don’t follow this procedure.
2.Enable the USB debugging mode on the device by navigating to “Settings > Developer Options”.
3.Make a backup of all your important data’s which includes Contacts, SMS, MMS, Files, Songs, Videos, etc.
4.Download LG USB drivers for your smartphone and install it on the computer.
5.Make sure the battery percentage level of your phone is more than 75%, so then you can avoid the power issues while the process is going on.

Procedure to root LG Optimus L9 (P760, P765,P768, P769):
1.First download the file from here. Then install the software using installation button as you would on any other Windows installation.
2.While you are installing, you will see a green button, press that button. After that connect your phone (This process is not tested on ICS, recommended to do on Jellybean).
3.When the phone is connected the software will recognize the phone and the green button will show “Root,” click on it.
4.Now, the rooting process will begin on your phone, and the process will be finished within few seconds.
5.After that, it will reboot automatically.
6.When it is rebooted, go to Google Play and Download SuperSu.
7.Open the SuperSu and it will ask you to update the binaries and you must click on update and then normal.
8.A window in Chinese will pop up on the phone; this is the screen that allows you to give root permission to any app.
9.Just click the button which is available on the right.
10.That’s it the rooting process is finished, and now you have root access on your LG Optimus L9 (P760, P765, P768, P769) smartphone.
