HTC Droid DNA Gets Android 4.4.2 And Sense 5.5

A few weeks before the HTC Droid DNA gained the ability to boot multiple ROMs with the help of an unofficial MultiROM port. Now, there is a Sense 5.5 laced build of Android 4.4.2 has been ported over from the HTC One to the Droid DNA.

It was developed by the XDA developers and is currently stable and running on the Linux 3.4.18.kernel. Because, both of them are ported from the HTC One and due to that the HTC Droid DNA users will get benefit from many of the same software features.

The ROM doesn’t come as pre-rooted, but it is not a problem because you can simply root it after the installation. The port offers both the GSM and CDMA device support.Three download options are provided-the deodexed build, an odexed build and a patch to get CDMA working.

The HTC reports that the users of the HTC Droid DNA can expect the official Android 4.4 KitKat update at the end of the first quarter of this year.
